Second Sparkes picture book from Egmont
Egmont Publishing will this year release the second picture book by Amy Sparkes.
Ellie’s Magic Wellies is a rhyming picture book about what happens when Ellie gets a new pair of magical wellies. It will be published as part of a previous two-book deal struck by Melissa Fairley, publishing director of picture book and gift at Egmont, and Julia Churchill of A M Heath.
The text will be illustrated by Nick East, who has a four-book deal with Egmont. His agent is Heather Richards at Tallbean.
Ellie’s Magic Wellies will be released on 6th April in paperback, priced at £6.99.
Sparkes is donating 5% of her author royalties to the charity ICP Support, which supports women with the condition intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP).
