  • The YA Book Prize

    The Bookseller launched the YA Book Prize in 2015, and the first winner was Louise O'Neill for Only Ever Yours (Quercus). Publishers can submit YA books written by authors resident in the UK or Ireland. Submissions are now closed. A shortlist of 10 titles will be announced in February and the winner will presented with £2,000 at next year’s ‘Hay YA’ - the YA programme at Hay-On-Wye Festival. The festival’s director Peter Florence will also act as one of the judges.
