Rebecca Raisin is set to return to HQ Digital, an imprint of HarperCollins, with four new romantic novels. Editorial director Priyal Agrawal acquired world all-language rights directly from the author.
The Little Porto Book Club has Raisin’s “trademark dose of bookish escapism”, the publisher said.
The blurb reads: “When Viviane’s interfering mother insists that her bookworm daughter needs some friends who aren’t fictional, Viviane decides to head into the bustling streets of Porto in search of her community. What better place to start than by creating a book club for introverts in the corner of a little-known café? There’s only one rule: absolutely no chatting. But when one of these newfound friends disappears without a word, will this community come together to find their fellow lost soul, and can Viviane find love along the way… ?”
Agrawal said: “I am delighted to be welcoming Rebecca back into the HQ Digital family. No one gets to the heart of a love story like Rebecca does and it is clear that the warmth and the humour that she brings to each of her novels strike a chord with her loyal readers across the world. I am thrilled to be embarking on this next chapter of Rebecca’s glittering career together.”
Raisin is the author of 23 romance novels, including Kindle-bestseller Summer at the Santorini Bookshop and RNA Contemporary Romantic Novel Award-winner A Love Letter to Paris.
Raisin said: “I’m thrilled to be returning to HQ with Priyal Agrawal and the team to work on four destination romances that will take readers on a journey, with sun-drenched romcoms with a surprise twist to high-concept tales. I’m excited for readers to discover the quirky introverts in The Little Porto Book Club who must overcome their social anxieties and team up to help out one of their own.”
The first novel, The Little Porto Book Club, will be published in August 2026.
