HarperFiction has scooped two further novels from BBC weather presenter Carol Kirkwood.
Kate Bradley, editorial director, acquired world rights from Kerr MacRae at Kerr MacRae LPA. The new books are currently untitled and do not yet have publication dates.
Her debut novel Under a Greek Moon, reached number two on the Sunday Times bestseller list in summer 2021 and the follow-up, The Hotel on the Riviera, will publish this month.
Bradley said: “Carol’s debut novel, Under a Greek Moon, blew readers away, it’s heady mix of romance, scandal and sizzle was thrilling and has proved to be just what readers want. We’re delighted to publish more books with Carol; for her debut to have gone straight in at number two shows how brilliant she is at connecting with her fans and readers. Carol is an absolute treasure who is already proving to be a shining star of the genre — we’re incredibly excited about the future.”
MacRae added: “Carol’s stories allow you to escape with her to beautiful places, with interesting people and stories that twist and turn. I am delighted the fantastic team at HarperCollins will be taking her to even greater heights with these new books.”
Kirkwood said she was "absolutely thrilled” to work on another two books.
