Crowd-funding scheme opens door to illustrators

Scottish indie Little Door has launched a crowd-funding campaign to raise £3,500 to publish author/ illustrator Will Hughes’ début What Not to Give an Ogre for His Birthday.

It will be issued under the Little Door Débuts strand, which launched because "there are so many new illustrators who don’t get [given] a chance", the indie said.

Backers can pledge up to £200 to receive copies of the book, badges or a caricature by Hughes.
