Choc Lit has signed two series in a seven-book deal with romance author Kai Juniper.
Head of Choc Lit Becky Slorach acquired world rights to the two series – Twisted Pine Academy and Dirty Little Secret – direct from the author. Slorach will publish both series in e-book and paperback in 2026, starting with the Twisted Pine Academy series in Spring 2026.
"Twisted Pine Academy is a four-book dark romance set inside California’s most elite private school," the synopsis says. "Dragged from New York and dropped into a world of privilege and cruelty, Rumour Bennet quickly learns the rules are unspoken – and breaking them is dangerous.
"Caught between her loyalty to her enigmatic cousin Braden, the school’s ruthless king, and her forbidden attraction to Jackson, his most hated enemy, Rumour must decide how far she’ll fall – and who she’s willing to betray – to survive."

The blurb adds: "Dirty Little Secret is a three-book bully romance series set in the charged world of high-school power dynamics. It follows Ella, an outsider from the wrong side of town, and Briggs, the untouchable king of the rugby team.
"When a dangerous secret unexpectedly binds them together, the sworn enemies are forced into an volatile alliance that quickly ignites into something far more dangerous. But as the stakes rise, walking away proves far harder than keeping the truth buried."
Slorach said: "I absolutely loved Kai’s two series and am delighted to be relaunching them. The blend of enemies-to-lovers tension with high-stakes secrecy and the angsty, emotional intensity kept me utterly hooked and I know will do the same for all readers of dark romance. I am thrilled to be bringing readers these addictive, bingeable romances!"
Juniper added: "I’m absolutely thrilled that two of my bestselling series are being relaunched by Choc Lit. The Dirty Little Secret trilogy and the Twisted Pine Academy series (all four books!) are getting a fresh new start and I couldn’t be happier about this next chapter. Working with Choc Lit has been a wonderful experience, and I can’t wait to bring these dark, angsty stories to a whole new audience of readers."
