Bloomsbury Children’s Books has acquired two more books in Catherine Doyle’s Storm Keeper series.
The series will now be a quartet with the final book about Fionn’s adventures on the island of Arranmore concluding the story in 2021.
The series started with last year’s The Storm Keeper’s Island and rights to the first book have sold in 16 territories, including Itally and the US. The second book, The Lost Tide Warriors, is out in the UK in July.
Ellen Holgate, head of fiction at Bloomsbury Children’s Books, bought world rights to the two new books from Claire Wilson at RCW. Holgate said: "Children all over the world have loved reading about Fionn and are already eagerly awaiting book two. I know they will be as delighted as we are that the adventure will continue for another two books. It just gets more and more exciting."
