Black Crow Books has signed a three-book deal with Philip Fracassi for first-time UK publication.
Publisher Jamie-Lee Nardone acquired UK and British Commonwealth rights for e-book and print from Clash Books. She also secured exclusive worldwide hardback and special edition rights from Elizabeth Copps at Copps Literary Services.
The deal included Sarafina, a historical horror novel about three brothers during “one of the most violent battles of the [American] Civil War”, Gothic and its sequel. Sarafina will publish in paperback original in April 2026 and an exclusive hardback will be available on the Black Crow Books’ online bookshop. Gothic will hit shelves in February 2026 as a paperback original.
“I’m thrilled to be working with one of the premier presses in the UK”, said Fracassi. "I can’t wait for readers to get hold of these books and see the always-stunning Black Crow editions of my newest novels."
Nardone added: “The demise of toxic men? A mysterious cottage in the woods? A stunning mix of horror and fantasy? Sarafina was an instant yes. Then I read Gothic. A morally ambiguous horror author and a cursed object? Say no more.”
