Walliams takes the top spot back from Zoella

David Walliams has recaptured the Official Top 50 number one from Zoe “Zoella” Sugg, as Grandpa’s Great Escape (HarperCollins Children’s) outsold Girl Online: On Tour (Penguin) by just 337 copies. Walliams’ Grandpa…, whose four-week streak at number one was ended by the YouTuber a week ago, reclaimed the throne with 37,641 copies sold for £223,462 through Nielsen BookScan’s Total Consumer Market.

Grandpa…, which surpassed the 200,000 copies sold mark and entered the top 10 bestselling titles of 2015 two weeks ago, has now sold 286,311 copies since its release at the end of September.
