Vermillion has bought the rights to a book by Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow's personal trainer, Tracy Anderson.
Commissioning editor Julia Kellaway acquired exclusive UK, Commonwealth and European rights from Rowan Lawton, on behalf of Rebecca Oliver, at WME Entertainment.
The 30-Day Method Boot Camp is based on Anderson's research over the last decade into how the body works. The book is illustrated throughout and includes a DVD featuring a cardio routine. The workouts in the book combine aerobic exercise with exercises to challenge each muscle group. It is due to be published in January 2011.
Kellaway said: "Amazingly effective, Tracy's unique training programme combines muscle work and cardio with nutrition, and is accessible to anyone, regardless of age and fitness level. Everything she puts forward in her method is backed up by research and has never been offered in a book before."
