Transworld has announced promotions for Becks Short and Sally Wray and has hired Tabitha Pelly from Pushkin Press to join the publicity team.
Senior publicity manager Short has been made head of publicity, commercial after three years with the company and will continue to report to PR director Alison Barrow. She will also report to Pelly who joins the company from Pushkin Press as head of publicity, Doubleday, on 2nd December.
Wray, who joined Transworld in 2014 as senior publicity manager, has been promoted to head of publicity, non-fiction. Wray will continue to report to publicity director Patsy Irwin.
Short and Wray, who will take on their new roles on 1st November, will continue to work with their existing roster of authors. Barrow and Irwin will continue to lead the department as a whole, working with their current and some new authors and to guide the Transworld publicity strategy.
