Cornerstone has created a “landmark immersive” website for Tony Parsons’ crime series, which began with the release this year of The Murder Room.
Working with progressive marketing agency Futureproof, Cornerstone has launched a website which currently includes immersive 360 degree imaging of key locations from The Murder Room, developed using Google Street View technology.
Users can explore different environments and unlock additional content, including Spotify playlists created by the book’s main characters.
The Murder Room follows DC Max Wolfe as he investigates a series of murders from the back streets of London to the corridors of power in Westminster.
The second title in the series, The Slaughter Man, will be published next year.
Jennifer Doyle, deputy brands director at Cornerstone, said: “We commissioned Futureproof to create a site that allows both fans and potential readers to be fully immersed in the world of DC Max Wolfe.
“We believe this content marketing approach will both establish the setting and series character and be a constantly dynamic environment for fans to return to again and again.
“We’re excited to build on this innovation and the site content will constantly evolve.”
