Three more McDermott adventure thrillers to Headline

Three more McDermott adventure thrillers to Headline

Headline has signed a deal for three more books by Andy McDermott, the bestselling author of the Nina Wilde and Eddie Chase adventure thrillers.

Deputy publishing director Vicki Mellor bought world rights from Robin Wade at Wade & Co Literary Agency, bringing the series total to 15 books.

The three books are scheduled for release in September 2017, September 2018 and September 2019.

The 11th in the series, The Revelation Code, was published last week, and one more will be published under McDermot's existing contract next spring. All books will continue the adventures of the main characters.

Mellor said: “I have been very privileged to work with Andy for many years over the course of this incredible series. Nina and Eddie are two of my favourite series characters and I am always as eager as Andy’s readers to see where he decides to take them next ...His consummate skill at bringing these characters to life and taking them on their incredible adventures is second-to-none.”

McDermot is a British thriller author and former magazine editor, film critic, and journalist, best known for his Nina Wilde and Eddie Chase novels that are published in over 30 territories world-wide.

He said: "I'm thrilled to be continuing my relationship with Headline for another three books. They took a gamble on an unpublished author who'd made the brave/insane decision to quit his job in order to write full-time, and nine years and 12 novels later I'm very grateful that it paid off. I'm looking forward to working with Vicki and the team on more epic adventures for Nina Wilde and Eddie Chase."
