Coronet is to reissue Tell Me Who I Am, the "extraordinary and shocking" story of twins Alex and Marcus Lewis ahead of a Netflix documentary.
Written with Joanna Hodgkin, it tells the story of Alex, who woke from a coma at the age of 18 following a motorbike accident but had forgotten everything about his life.
The synopsis explains: "The only thing he did remember was Marcus, his identical twin. Marcus became Alex’s only link to his past, his only hope for his future. But as Marcus helped his beloved brother to rediscover his life and the childhood they had shared, he chose to leave things out.
"This is not only an extraordinary and shocking account of a dangerous legacy, set against a glamorous and eccentric backdrop of upper class society, but a hopeful story of courage and redemption founded on brotherly love."
Tell Me Who I Am, originally published in 2013, will be reissued in the UK on 10th October. A forthcoming documentary film was commissioned by Netflix and made by Simon and Jonathan Chinn’s production company Lightbox.
After its premiere at the Telluride Film Festival earlier this month, it will screen in the UK at the London Film Festival before its global Netflix launch on 18th October.
