Storm Publishing has partnered with Marc Simonsson of SoloSon Media to represent film and television rights for its authors.
Oliver Rhodes, founder and former c.e.o. of Bookouture, founded Storm Publishing in September 2022. It now has a team of eight, will launch its first books in May, and recently launched a partnership with Greyhound Literary, which will handle its authors’ translation rights.
Kathryn Taussig, publisher of Storm, said: "We’re thrilled to be working with Marc to connect our authors’ brilliant stories with new partners and opportunities. We look forward to seeing some of those stories come to life on the screen."
Simonsson commented: “I am excited to be able to collaborate with Storm Publishing which is building a really exciting and dynamic list at the forefront of the publishing industry.
“The team that they have put together and titles they have signed in such a short space of time is an indication of their ambitions and I cannot wait to develop film and TV partnerships for them.”
SoloSon works with literary agencies and publishers including Hardman & Swainson, The Jo Unwin Literary Agency, The North Literary Agency, Susanna Lea Associates, The Ben Illis Agency, The Blair Partnership, Kate Barker Literary Agency, The Liverpool Literary Agency, The Underline Literary Agency, Bonnier Zaffre, Sandstone Press, Atlantic Books, Firefly Press and Guppy Books.
