Walker Books has appointed Rumana Haider to the newly created role of export sales director. She will commence in the role on Monday 3rd August, reporting to sales and marketing director Andrew Stanley, and lead Walker’s export sales team in extending the reach of the publisher’s titles across international markets outside of North America and Australia.
Haider brings to the role more than two decades of senior sales leadership experience across publishers including Michael O’Mara Books, Simon & Schuster, and most recently Bloomsbury. Her experience spans sales, marketing and operations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, South and Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
