Philip Reeve, Suzanne LaFleur and Chris Priestley are just some of the authors which will have titles given away for free to children in this years Booked Up campaign.
Booked Up, run by Booktrust, allows year seven pupils choose one free book from a list of 19 titles that include fiction, non fiction and poetry. By Christmas, more than two and half million books will have been given to pupils across the country since the programmes inception in 2007.
Public libraries and school library services are being offered the opportunity to receive free sets of the books and supporting resources to enhance the Booked Up programme.
