Rayner moves to Transworld

Rachel Rayner is to move from HarperCollins to Transworld, taking up the role of commissioning editor, crime and thrillers.

Rayner will report to Sarah Adams, publishing director, crime and thrillers.

Rayner began her publishing career at Ebury before moving to Fourth Estate. She has worked on the HarperCollins crime and thriller list for the past two years, working with authors including Camilla Lackberg, S J Parris, Mark Mills and Andrew Gross as well as Sunday Times top 10 bestseller Sanctus by Simon Toyne.

She runs a literary night in Soho and also programmed entertainment for the literary stage at a boutique festival.

Rayner joins Transworld on 26th September.
