Publisher joins forces with travel site

<p>Bradt has teamed up with GeckoGo travel website to provide destination content including more than 110,000 travel tips and reviews.</p><p>Over the next couple of months Bradt content will be distributed on the website as part of the exclusive deal. The new Bradt features on will include information on destinations, author profiles, an &lsquo;ask the author&rsquo; section and special offers on Bradt guides to all GeckoGo subscribers.</p><p>Donald Greig, managing director of Bradt said that the company had been looking for a travel planning site to partner with for some time and is &quot;delighted&quot; with the pairing. He said: &quot;Our brands are very complementary: we share a love of unusual places and positive travel.&quot; </p><p>Greig added that although the internet is important, previously Bradt has been careful not to put too much information out on the web. He added: &quot;I know there is a tendency these days to spread content as widely as possible across the internet, but ours is a very specialist product and to distribute it too freely would be to devalue it.&quot;</p>
