Profile Books has promoted sales and marketing director Diana Broccardo to commercial director.
Managing director of the independent publisher, Andrew Franklin, said the promotion was in recognition of her "achievements and reflection of the role".
Broccardo joined Profile in 2010 as sales director. Prior to that she worked at Hodder, Faber and Orion.
Franklin said: "Diana Broccardo is the Heineken of the book trade. She reaches parts no others can, and she touches everything we do. Her responsibilities include sales, marketing, publicity, art, distribution and Third Millennium Publishing. Diana joined Profile in 2010, and our turnover has grown from £7m to £12m pounds since she joined the board."
Broccardo said: "I am delighted that Andrew has seen fit to bestow a shorter title on me! We have a lot of fun at Profile, which is key to our success. With outstanding authors and talented colleagues, it is a pleasure be part of growing a distinct, independent publisher."
