The inaugural Pembrokeshire Children's Book Festival will attempt to set the Guinness World Record for the largest ever bedtime story reading, with the help of visitors to the event.
Children and adults will all be invited to read a chapter of a book at 8pm on 30th October, the first day of the festival, held at Bluestone National Park Resort near Narberth. The attempt will be witnessed and validated by Guinness World Records.
The festival, which runs between 30th October and 2nd November, will feature appearances from authors including Francesca Simon, author of the Horrid Henry series, and Jill Murphy, author of the Worst Witch books.
It is organised by Northern Book Festivals, a not for profit organisation.
