The Kim Scott Walwyn prize is now open for entries.
The national award, worth £1,000, recognises the achievements and future potential of women in publishing at the start of their careers. It is named in memory of Kim Scott Walwyn, the OUP publishing director who died in 2002.
Any woman who works in publishing is able to nominate herself for the award and submissions are open until Monday 18th February.
Managed by Booktrust, in partnership with the Publishing Training Centre (PTC) and Society of Young Publishers (SYP) the award was first introduced in 2003 and previous winners have come from all across the publishing industry.
A special ceremony will be held on the 15th May at the Free Word Centre in Central London where the chosen winner will be announced.
