Extra content will include trivia about the original series for fans of the show.

She said: "The Crystal Maze is television gold and we couldn’t be more delighted to be publishing this fantastic book to tie into the glorious return of the show. We are certain that come Christmas living rooms across the lands will be transformed into spectacular domes, and you won’t even need a hairdryer. Start the fans please."

The chance for us to come up with even more mind-bending mental, mischievous mystery, fiendish physical and slapstick skill games for people to play at home was an opportunity too good to miss."
