Ex-HarperCollins special projects director Katie Fulford has joined Bell Lomax Moreton as an agent, working with fiction and non-fiction authors.
Fulford worked at HarperCollins for 25 years, holding senior positions including group rights director and m.d. for Collins non-fiction, before announcing her departure last year. Most recently she worked as executive producer, developing TV shows from HarperCollins titles.
She said: "I am thrilled to be working with Bell Lomax Moreton, an agency I have admired from afar and worked with over the years. I’m joining them at a very exciting time in their growth and I am looking forward to crossing the fence from publishing to agenting and I’m excited to discover new writers across the board."
Agency m.d. Paul Moreton added: "I’m delighted that Katie has agreed to join Bell Lomax Moreton. Katie’s experience and enthusiasm will be invaluable to us and I’m sure she will be a brilliant agent."
