Julian, George, Dick, Anne and Timmy will be back in a series of new adventures along with other Enid Blyton classic stories, the late author's estate has announced.
The BBC reports that Chorion will publish more than 20 new books, including classic Blyton stories The Faraway Tree and Mallory Towers, over two years.
The Famous Five books will be published by Hodder Children's Books, which will first put out a "how to" guide based on the five amateur sleuths: The Famous Five's Survival Guide, will feature the intrepid kids (and dog) as they try to solve The Mystery of the Royal Dragon of Siam.
A new series of Famous Five titles, Famous Five On the Case, will be released to accompany the Disney TV Series and feature a new, modern generation of child sleuths who are related to the original F5 crew.
In September, The Faraway Tree will return in the first story since 1951. "Blyton's stories have been enjoyed by millions over the years and there is a huge demand for more of her magical storytelling," said Jeff Norton from Chorion.
"Blyton was passionate in her advocacy of child literacy and as the guardians of her estate we see it as our duty to continue that legacy. By creating new stories that capture Blyton's values of imagination, wonder, thrills and happy endings, we hope to complement her original and ongoing titles and bring joy to millions more children in the years to come."
