Digital publisher Creative Content has signed a partnership deal with specialist crime fiction publisher Creme de la Crime to publish all its titles in e-book format worldwide.
The first collection of titles will launch from April 2010, all to be published under the imprint e-CC. Launch titles are yet to be announced but will shortly appear on the Creative Content and Creme de la Crime websites.
Ali Muirden, Creative Content founder, said: "Lorelei [King, co-founder] and I are hugely excited at the opportunity to add Creme de la Crime’s fantastic collection of modern and period crime fiction to our catalogue."
She added: "As we currently specialise in non-fiction titles, being able to add such a popular fiction genre to our list is wonderful and gives us the opportunity to expand into a totally new market worldwide."
Lynne Patrick, founder of Creme de la Crime, added: "E-books are a big step forward for the publishing industry. We’ve been looking at different ways to approach the new technology for some months, and the partnership with Creative Content supplies not only the expertise we need, but also a brilliant opportunity to reach new readers.
"Ali and Lorelei’s enthusiasm is inspiring, and I’m looking forward to exploring new territory with them."
