The Rights House Group has appointed Robert Caskie to the newly created role of chief operating officer.
Caskie will remain a literary agent at PFD, which is part of The Rights House Group, in addition to his new role. In the position, he will manage human resources across The Rights House Group, and maintain communication across all divisions of the company.
PFD chief executive Caroline Michel said: "The Rights House Group has grown significantly over the past 12 months, within traditional talent and literary sectors and through innovations in the management of author estates and a successful embracing of emerging digital opportunities.
"Robert has proved a remarkable agent, and, in his role as c.o.o., will be integral to the continued successful growth of The Rights House Group in the years to come."
