Anova Books has acquired the rights to jelly-making duo Bompas and Parr's second title.
Anna Cheifetz, associate publisher for Pavilion, bought world rights from Isabel Atherton of Creative Authors.
Anova imprint Pavilion has recently published the pairs debut title, Jelly with Bompas & Parr, but this second book is the pair's take on cocktails.
The book will include a brief history of cocktail making, the science of drinking, bartending tips and recipes for classic drinks. The publisher said there it will be a "cocktail book like no other", with inspirational tips and suggestions including 'molecular' techniques, coloured drinks, medicinal cocktails.
Harry Parr, partner of Bompas & Parr, said: "I've spent the last few weeks drinking my way through history.
"In the Renaissance cocktails were a gateway to romance but many of the recipes have been lost. We’ve rediscovered recipes that include ambergris (whale vomit) and 24 carat gold and we’re going to work with Pavilion and Creative Authors to conquer the cocktail."
The title will be published in June next year.
