Waterstone's has said that it is "thrilled" to have signed up its three millionth customer to the Waterstone's card.
Commercial director Neil Jewsbury said: "We are thrilled to have reached this incredible milestone only two years since the card's launch.
"Our customers have taken to the card's mixture of points on purchases and the chance to take advantage of exclusive offers and competitions, and they've also helped reduce our plastic bag usage by opting to take eco-points rather than a bag when they make a purchase."
He added: "The card goes from strength to strength and we look forward to helping our cardholders discover something new every time they visit our stores or Waterstones.com."
The three millionth card holder was issued with the loyalty card last week.
