The Yiddish Policemen’s Union by Michael Chabon (Fourth Estate) has the best novel category at this year's Hugo Awards, which are billed as science fiction's most prestigious awards.
The awards were announced last week at the 66th World Science Fiction Convention, in Denver, Colorado, USA, and also included best novella for All Seated on the Ground by Connie Willis; and best short story for "Tideline" by Elizabeth Bear.
