Coldplay has hidden lyrics from the songs of its upcoming Ghost Stories album in libraries around the world as part of a scavenger hunt from fans.
The band is giving clues to the location of the lyrics, which are handwritten by singer Chris Martin, on its official twitter account twitter.com/coldplay, using the hashtag #lyricshunt.
One of the hidden envelopes also contains a special Golden Ticket, giving the finder two tickets to Coldplay’s concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London 1st July.
Lyrics have so far been found in libraries in Barcelona, Helsinki, Mexico City and Singapore. The libraries aren't all in cities, however, and the smallest town with some has a population of less than 100,000, the band said on Twitter.
Ghost Stories will be released by Parlophone on 16th May.
