Sam Harrison, Waterstone's buyer for entertainment and sport, is to join Aurum Press as commissioning editor.
Harrison moves to the independent illustrated publisher on 12th May. He replaces Natasha Martin, who left the company for a position outside publishing last month. Harrison has been with Waterstone's since 2000, starting in the Nottingham branch before moving to head office.
Bill McCreadie, Aurum m.d., said: "I am very pleased that Sam will be joining us. He's an extremely knowledgeable and widely read guy with a real intellect and his commercial retail experience will be a great asset to the business".
