Elizabeth Masters, currently PR manager for Tinder Press at Headline, has been appointed deputy publicity director for Quercus.
Masters will start in her new role with the Quercus publicity team on 14th March, reporting to publicity director Hannah Robinson.
Masters spent six years at Transworld before moving to Headline, where she worked across the literary fiction, crime and cookery lists in her role as PR manager for Tinder, and was recently shortlisted for a PPC Award for her publicity campaign for John Torode’s My Kind of Food.
She said: “The year 2015 was an incredibly impressive year for Quercus with standout, event publishing and I am thrilled to be joining the team next month. It is truly an international publishing house and with my background in languages I eagerly anticipate working across its translated fiction titles as well as its outstanding crime fiction, literary fiction and non-fiction.”
Robinson said: “I am absolutely delighted that Elizabeth will be joining the team at Quercus. She has an impressive track record across a wide range of fiction and non-fiction titles and will be bringing this breadth of experience to strengthen the Quercus publicity team."
