Children’s laureate Malorie Blackman will be the "children's author of the day" at London Book Fair on 10th April 2014.
The event marks the first time in LBF’s history that a children’s laureate has taken on such a role and having Blackman on board is a great honour, said director Jacks Thomas.
“She is a brilliant and inspiring writer who is a truly global brand, connecting kids all over the world through herwork; to have a current Children’s Laureate is very exciting,” she said.
Blackman’s schedule will involve an in-conversation event in the PEN Literary Salon followed by a book signing.
