Pan Macmillan pre-empts Susie Tate’s self-published Aristocrats of London romance series
Pan Fiction has pre-empted three novels in the Aristocrats of London series from self-published author Susie Tate.
Maddie Thornham acquired UK and Commonwealth rights from Anna Carmichael at Abner Stein in a three-book deal. Law Maker will publish in e-book and audio in April 2026, followed by paperback in August 2026. The following two books, Deal Breaker and Trouble Maker, will publish in November 2026 and spring 2027 respectively.
The synopsis says: “Shy teacher Clara secretly crushes on gorgeous billionaire single dad Lord Rafe Sterling, but avoids him at all costs. When he forces a meeting, he’s obsessed. How can a woman so scared be so fierce when defending his son? But Clara is not who she says she is, and by the time Rafe realises her fear runs deeper than simple shyness, it may be too late...”
