Kyle Books has signed chef Clodagh McKenna’s new cookbook, Clodagh’s Happy Cooking: 100 Easy, Speedy, Healthy Recipes for Good Mood Food.
Publisher Joanna Copestick secured world rights directly from the author for publication in October 2025.
Clodagh’s Happy Cooking contains "easy, everyday, tasty" recipes for breakfast, "simple weekday suppers" and "indulgent weekend dishes and desserts". The book is pitched as a "must-have guide to joyful, healthy living".
McKenna is a chef, television present and food columnist and also runs a 100-acre sustainable farm called Broadspear. The farm is home to dogs, hens, ducks, pigs and cattle as well as an orchard, a pickling and fermenting shed, wildflower meadows and five working bee hives.
Copestick commented: "This book is so perfectly timed for what we crave right now: healthy, good mood food. Clodagh’s Happy Cooking is a breath of fresh air in the form of 100 easy, tasty meals, for sharing with family and friends time and again on weekdays and at weekends."
McKenna added: "This is my ninth book, and it’s one of my most personal yet. In Happy Cooking, I open up about the practices and routines that help me live as healthily and happily as I can. At its heart, this book is about balance, finding joy in nourishing our bodies while still enjoying the little indulgences that make life sweet.
"It’s packed with 100 easy, everyday recipes designed to bring happiness to the table, from energising breakfasts to wholesome dinners and weekend treats. By consciously cooking nutritious meals and sharing them with the people we love, we can boost our well-being, ease anxiety and nourish both body and soul."
