Kyle Books, part of the Octopus Publishing Group, has acquired a new cookbook from Michelin-starred seafood chef Nathan Outlaw entitled Fish for Dinner.
Publisher Jo Copestick acquired world all language rights from Mitra Esmizadeh at 10Ten Culinary for publication in April 2023 in hardback.
The publisher said that in Fish for Dinner, Outlaw “gives his expert advice on what fish to cook and how to cook it”, alongside more than 70 of his best seafood recipes.
The publisher added: “With illustrated preparation techniques, all of Nathan’s top tips and species substitutes for every recipe, it is easy to cook delicious fish at home. From hearty stews to delicate soups, moreish snacks to perfect pan-fried dinners and super seafood salads to smoky barbecue specials, there is a fish dish for every occasion.”
Outlaw, who trained with Rick Stein and has two restaurants and a guest house in Port Isaac, Cornwall, said: “I’m really happy with the layout and style of this book. It’s easy to follow and has some beautiful photos, transporting the reader to my home town of Port Isaac.
“It’s been lovely to write this collection of recipes that will give people the confidence to cook seafood along with some knowledge about the seafood itself too. There are recipes here to suit both beginners and more experienced cooks; truly something for everyone. I think the most difficult thing for fish lovers will be deciding which dish to cook first.”
Copestick added: “Nathan is an outstanding fish chef and I am delighted to welcome him to the Kyle Books list. His beautiful new book will convert even the most reluctant fish cook into an enthusiastic seafood aficionado.”
