Headline acquires memoir from former England Rugby Union captain Lewis Moody
Headline has acquired former England Rugby Union captain Lewis Moody’s memoir. Zoë Blanc, senior commissioning editor at Headline, acquired world English rights to Untitled from David Luxton at David Luxton Associates.
The book will explore how Moody has applied the lessons of his sporting career and coaching, following his diagnosis of Motor Neurone Disease at age 47, to dealing with his disease. He includes the key strengths to draw on when facing the unexpected and the power of positivity and hope in the face of life’s hardest moments.
The synopsis continues: “Along the way, Lewis’s skill as an executive coach, hard-earned wisdom and perspective will offer readers concrete skills to apply when making their own decisions about how to live life well. The message is one of hope and of how love, friendship and community can sustain us when inevitable challenges arise.”
