DK signs guide to growing crops by the head of The Raymond Blanc Gardening School
DK has acquired Around the World in 80 Seeds by August Beth, head of The Raymond Blanc Gardening School. Editorial director Ruth O’Rourke acquired world rights from Borra Garson at DML Talent, for publication in February 2027.
In the book Beth shares her guidance for growing “the very best chef-approved crops.”
“In Around the World in 80 Seeds, readers will discover the edible crops from all over the world that grow in the kitchen garden at the celebrated restaurant,” the publisher says.
“Each delicious crop is explored from seed to harvest, weaving together the fascinating stories behind their global origins with tips on how to use them in the kitchen. August takes the reader through every stage of planting and caring for each vegetable, fruit or herb – passing on her expert tips, and recommending the very best heirloom varieties to grow.”
The book will also feature a dozen recipes from the chefs of Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, a Belmond Hotel, Oxfordshire, including a signature beetroot terrine from Raymond Blanc.
