Pan Macmillan imprint Tor has acquired the tie-in novelisation to forthcoming Harrison Ford film “Cowboys & Aliens”.
Tor editorial director Julie Crisp acquired UK and Commonwealth rights, excluding Canada, to the title by Joan D Vinge, from Tor US.
“Cowboys & Aliens”, starring Ford, Daniel Craig and Sam Rockwell, crosses the classic Western with alien invasion in the story of a mysterious stranger appearing in a desert town.
Crisp said: "There’s already been a lot of buzz about this movie and with such a stellar cast attached it looks to be a blockbuster. So we’re really excited to be publishing the authorised novelisation of the screenplay alongside the film."
The film and the book will be released in August.
