Adam Howard has been promoted to managing director and campaigns director of Scribe UK.
Previously the publicity and marketing director, Howard has been with Scribe since 2016, starting out as a publicity assistant. As well as handling publicity and marketing for Scribe’s titles, he will oversee strategy and operations in the UK office.
Howard said: “I’ve been incredibly proud to be a part of Scribe through nine of its 12 years as a UK publisher, seeing it rise to its current position as an independent with a remarkable reputation for publishing vital books, particularly our gold standard non-fiction and translated fiction.
“Recent changes in the UK, including Maria Bedford joining us as editorial director late last year [...] herald a new chapter in Scribe’s history, and I’m thrilled to be able to lead the team into the future.”
Scribe’s founder and publisher-in-chief Henry Rosenbloom said: “Adam has been doing a wonderful job for us, and his new position is a highly deserved progression.”
