Bookshops up and down the country celebrated Bookshop Day on Saturday 6th October, including the Wellcome Shop whose “Book Doctor” pictured ran book surgery sessions throughout the day.

On Thursday 4th October, Revd Fergus Butler-Gallie centre right celebrated the launch of A Field Guide to the English Clergy (Oneworld) alongside friends and colleagues at London Smithfield’s beautiful Great Saint Bartholomew’s church.

 

Liz Pichon launched the latest Tom Gates title, What Monster? (Scholastic), at Waterstones Brighton on Wednesday 3rd October. Guests were treated to sausage rolls created for the event by Kane McDowell right, founder of Sugardough bakery.

 

Founder Kip Bertram gave a speech at Bertram’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, which took place at Dunstan Hall on Sunday 30th September.
