Octopus Publishing Group and global careers network AllBright have teamed up to launch a virtual wellbeing event series in May.
The series will be hosted just ahead of Mental Health Awareness Week between 4th and 6th May and includes three morning workshop sessions and three evening talks featuring productivity, self-care, career contentment and burn-out. It will be offered for free to all AllBright members but general tickets are also available from £13.
The event will feature sessions from a range of authors who specialise in mental health and wellbeing. Suzy Reading will begin the summit with a 'Self-Care Session' while Samantha Clarke will lead a motivational talk on how to ‘Craft Your Career’ to increase work happiness. Danielle North will host a ‘High-Performance Pause’ session and Dr Connson Locke will speak about how to ‘Access Your Inner Power’ in the workplace while Rosie Millen will deliver a workshop on ‘How to Avoid Burnout’.
Waterstones is acting as the official bookshop partner and will be fulfilling book and ticket orders for all authors and titles featured on the programme.
Allbright cultural programming manager Courtney Griffiths said: “Over the last year, the way we work has dramatically changed. More of us are working from home and many of us are struggling to balance work, life and wellbeing while maintaining relationships and ensuring our careers progress. We’re so excited to be teaming up with Octopus to bring ambitious women all over the world practical advice on productivity, to career contentment and meditation, to mental health and confidence.”
AllBright is a global careers network for women, founded by Debbie Wosskow OBE and Anna Jones. Combining digital-first resources, with physical clubs in London and West Hollywood, it aims to provide working women a space to connect, develop and accelerate their careers.
