Reality television star Megan McKenna is publishing her first book with Kings Road Publishing imprint John Blake Publishing.
Her autobiography, Mouthy, will be "sassy, frank, funny and inspirational", according to John Blake senior commissioning editor Ciara Lloyd, who bought world rights from Lauren Gardner at Bell Lomax Moreton in conjunction with Jade Reuben at Bold Management.
In her autobiography, McKenna, known for starring in "The Only Way Is Essex" (TOWIE), "Ex on the Beach", "Celebrity Big Brother", and "Britain's Got Talent", will talk about her first ever steps on the stage, to becoming one of the most well-known faces on British reality TV as well as a solo-artist.
Lloyd said: "Megan is a sensation: TV and singing star, fashion icon and the very glamorous and outspoken girl next door, she is also an impressive businesswoman and entrepreneur and this really is just the beginning. Mouthy is the real Megan behind all the gossip with some extraordinary highs and crushing lows along the way. Megan really is becoming the voice of her generation and I know there’s no stopping her. I’m so excited to be publishing her first book."
McKenna said: "I’m so proud to be working on my first book, Mouthy. It’s my chance to tell you the truth behind all of those headlines, the real reasons behind my meltdowns and chart how I ended up on your TV screens. It’s all in my own words so nothing has been twisted and I hope you like it."
