Marian Keyes has performed her first ever audiobook narration for her new novel Grown Ups (Michael Joseph), produced by W F Howes.
Throughout the recording process, Keyes kept her Twitter followers informed of what went on behind the scenes, giving a brief glimpse into what happens in the booth.
She said: "I was quite anxious because I really wanted to do a good job. It turned out that I absolutely loved doing it. It was great fun, challenging, and satisfying, and made me even prouder of the book. I really hope that fans feel I've done it justice."
Released on 6th February, the novel tells the story of the Caseys, a family who appear glamorous and happy until the murky truth is revealed at a birthday party.
Jodie Coles, UK acquisitions manager at W F Howes, said: "It has been a delight to have Marian in the studio. Her narration talent equals her storytelling brilliance and she brings so much energy, commitment, and life to the characters. This book is a definite must-listen!"
