The deadline for submission for the coveted FutureBook Awards is fast approaching. So far more than 50 companies, individuals and podcasts have been put forward for the accolades that are to be handed out at FutureBook Live on 30th November.
Five awards are up for grabs this year, including the prestigious FutureBook Person of the Year and Campaign of the Year. The BookTech Startup of the Year also returns, with shortlisted companies invited to FutureBook Live to pitch their tech solution in front of a panel of judges. For the first time, there is also a specific category for podcasters.

The award categories are as follows:
FutureBook Person of the Year (sponsored by Mosaic) honours the person who, during the past year, has most influenced publishing’s future.
FutureBook of the Year (sponsored by Frankfurt Book Fair) celebrates innovative books - whether they are print books, e-books, enhanced e-books, audiobooks, apps, or website based.
FutureBook Campaign of the Year will reward marketing or publicity campaigns that have used digital and/or print in a creative, intuitive and integrated way.
FutureBook Podcast of the Year, new for 2018, honours a books podcast that has done most to champion books, authors and/or writing during the past year.
FutureBook BookTech Startup of the Year highlights the most promising young book-related businesses offering a tech solution in the book space.
