Headline has joined forces with travel firm Thomas Cook to launch a holiday reading book club scheme.
Beginning with Maybe This Time by Jill Mansell, the project will see Thomas Cook promote a Headline title every month this year to holidaymakers looking for some literary inspiration.
The firm will be sharing each selection with its more than 200,000 followers around the country. Each title will be promoted alongside extra author content, extracts and interviews with links to purchase.
Victoria Abbott, head of marketing at Headline, said: “With working families continuously on the go, people need a quick fix for curating their holiday reading lists. It’s a great example of two brands coming together and using their audience overlap. For what better synergy could there be than beach and book?”
Felicity Moore, senior content executive at Thomas Cook, added: “We’re really pleased to be working exclusively with Headline on the Thomas Cook Book Club and can’t wait to launch with Jill Mansell this month.”
