DK is continuing its charitable partnership with BookTrust in 2018, after raising a total of £12,500 for the charity this year via bake sales and book sales, marathons, a Christmas raffle and the DK BookTrust Walk in London in the summer.
DK c.e.o. Ian Hudson said there was still more the publisher wanted to do with the charity.
"We are delighted to continue our partnership with BookTrust and support their crucial work to encourage literacy and enrich the lives of children through reading," he said. "By working together there is so much more we can still do. We look forward to planning more exciting fundraising events next year and raising awareness for BookTrust’s campaigns."
Diana Gerald, BookTrust c.e.o., said: "We would like to send a huge thank you to all DK staff who have gone above and beyond to support BookTrust over the past year. We have been absolutely amazed by the commitment shown by everyone
"From all of us at BookTrust and the children who receive our books, a huge thank you. Your generosity has helped to get children reading and that is something to be very proud of."
