Daisy Buchanan is launching a new podcast with Sphere, called "Daisy is Insatiable", to accompany her debut novel.
The book, Insatiable, is published in hardback, e-book and audio today (11th February), and the first episode of Buchanan's new podcast will be released in a week's time, on 18th February, with subsequent episodes released weekly.
With guests on the podcast to include Dolly Alderton, Paul Mendez, Andi Osho and Sharoo Izadi, "Daisy Is Insatiable" is "an intimate look at love, lust, life and everything that makes sex fascinating".
"Why do we yearn for romance? How can we feel confident when it comes to our body image hang-ups? What is the difference between sex and love? What happens when money gets involved?" reads the description for the podcast. "Each week, Daisy will be sharing a revealing conversation with a different guest—it's going to be fun, it's going to be explicit, and no-one is getting left in the dark."
Buchanan, who has published non-fiction books How to be a Grown Up and The Sisterhood, said: "I'm always looking for an excuse to say 'Let's talk about sex, baby!', but when we do, we give ourselves the room to explore so many bigger themes—intimacy, desire, humour, romance, body image, vulnerability and more. It's been a pleasure—pun intended!—to have some really moving, revealing conversations with people I admire, and I'm hoping this is a beginning of a conversation about the ways women can express and explore desire in a world that doesn't always make it easy for them."
