Jojo Moyes’ Still Me (Penguin), the third title in her blockbuster Me Before You trilogy, bounced into the Bookstat number one for the week ending 10th April. The e-book's price was lowered to 99p shortly before the Easter weekend. Michael Connelly’s Fair Warning (Orion) also bounced upwards, claiming second place.
Novels with bees on the cover definitely did well last week, with Christy Lefteri’s The Beekeeper of Aleppo (Manila) also returning to the top 10.
Though it’s rare to see a cookbook in the e-book chart, James and Paul Anderson’s food blog-inspired Twochubbycubs: Fast and Filling (Yellow Kite) hit ninth place, following in the footsteps of Rukmini Iyer’s The Quick Roasting Tin (Square Peg) just a few weeks ago.
Clarification: Hachette has confirmed Fair Warning sold 10,434 copies and Twochubbycubs Fast and Filling sold 12,735 copies.
